From Sarasota Healthcare 168 to TeamMed
TeamMed grew out of what was formerly Sarasota Healthcare 168 — a practice built over years of serving the Sarasota community with integrity and compassion. As medicine evolved and our patients' needs grew more complex, so did we.
Under new ownership, we expanded our services, brought in new specialists, and rebranded as TeamMed to reflect what we've always believed: that the best healthcare is a team effort. Your doctor, your nurse practitioner, and your care coordinator all work together with one shared goal — your wellbeing.
Today, TeamMed is a full-service internal medicine and wellness practice offering everything from same-day urgent visits to long-term chronic disease management — all under one roof in Sarasota.
